Our principal objective is to ensure that our properties are safe. All our properties have current NICEIC electrical and Gas Safe certificates. We want to provide a safe and secure environment for our student tenants so all accommodation is double glazed and security alarms fitted.
As of October 1st 2006 new fire safety rules came into force, these new rules ask that each property will have a fire risk assessment. This involves indentifying risks that can be removed or reduced to help protect you against the fire risks that remain.
In our properties we already provide a number of solutions to reduce the risk of fire / help in the event of fire. Such measures include fire check furniture, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, fire blankets, emergency lighting and fire escape windows.
We are committed to keeping up to date with new regulations and as a responsible landlord we will be fire assessing each property and educating each student on the fire safety issues.
No smoking allowed as all properties are smoke free zones!
